That's my goal. Now lets see if I can do it.
I am currently in Amarillo, TX traveling the country working for Lenox- a division of Newell Rubbermaid. I have been on the road since May 7th, 2007 and have seen every state in the continental US except Maine and Montana. I have seen some great stuff and met a ton of awesome people.
Here are some pics from the road. As you will see I am not very good at taking pics of landmarks!!! The main reason is bc I drive a very LARGE vehicle and it is not that easy to get around big cities. I hope to do more sightseeing this yr!!!!!!!!! Taxi cabs are my friend....
HERE IS MY RIDE....very large....
I am responsible for selling Planograms aka WOLF WALLS to distributors in the Plumbing, electrical, and HVAC trades throughout the country. Enough with the work talk.....
These are from NYC. I was in NY for work and my uncle Rusty came over from NJ and showed me around the city. This was my first time to see NYC and I was most impressed with the SKYLINE. it seemed to go on for miles and miles and miles. Rusty was an awesome host. He knew where everything was and how to get there!!! After the day in the city we went back to NJ for some dinner with my aunt Bobie. Then Rusty took me back to my hotel in Newark and someone had broke in the big rig!!! Bad news? nah, i got to stay longer bc the truck was in the shop! Luckily my friends Tom and KK were in town later that week so i got to see them and meet Tom's brother, Troy..... How do I not have pics with them??
The Drake--Chicago
Another big city I have liked since being on the road is Chicago. I was there in Oct. 07 and my friend Linda came up for a weekend and we stayed at the Drake hotel. It was an awesome hotel. On Saturday, we went to the Alabama alumni bar to watch the Bama game. There were TONS of bama fans there and we got there early so we could get a front row seat. after every Bama score the fight song was played and after the game RAMMER JAMMER was blared over the speakers. my buddy Tom met us and we stayed there ALL DAY watching football. Linda loved this part! :) Tom went to school at the University of Arizona but says the is now a Bama fan!! On sunday, we walked around the city and met Al Roker!!!!! woo hoo!
